News

Opportunities with Wikimedia Aotearoa New Zealand

Our neighbours Wikimedia Aotearoa New Zealand are hiring an Executive Advisor. This role will suit someone who comes from a strong senior administration or coordination background, ideally a PA/Executive support role. They are also seeking proposals for a Wikipedian-at-Large (WPAL) project to be held in 2024. This follows a previous WPAL that increased public awareness of Wikimedia projects and recruited new editors. Submissions close 15 September 2023. Further details can be found here.

Highlights of the past year included reviving our YouTube channel, and we recently joined Threads too! We know likes and follows aren’t everything, but social media is one way we share the amazing work our community does. Read our Social Media Stats update here.
