Revision as of 01:34, 26 March 2024
1Lib1Ref stands for “One Librarian, One Reference”. It's a campaign by librarians around the world (and anyone who has a passion for free knowledge!) to add a missing references to articles on Wikipedia.
How to get involved:
You can participate in the campaign through five easy steps:
- Find an article that needs a citation. You can use Citation Hunt or keep an eye out for the words [citation needed] when on Wikipedia.
- Use your Librarian Super Powers to find a reliable source to support the citation in the article.
- Add a citation using Wikipedia's citation tool. You can use any ISBN, doi or URL!
- Add the hashtag #1Lif1Ref in the edit summary
- Click publish.
