- 28 Jan- 1 Feb 2013 Australia's national Linux conference will be held in Canberra, a great place to meet up with others in the open source community. The conference can offer some financial support (involvement in projects such as Wikipedia is one of the criteria).
- 8 February 2013, Editing workshop in Toowoomba. More information is available on the Toowoomba Regional Council website.
- 9-11 February 2013 ALIA's New Librarians Symposium will be held in Brisbane. WMAU was a sponsor of the event. WMF Exec Director Sue Gardner was a keynote speaker. There was a presentation on WMAU's work with the APC on HOPAU. WMAU had a booth and distributed information and membership forms.
- 12-15 February 2013 ALIA's Information Online conference, also in Brisbane, Sue Gardner was a keynote speaker, introduced by Liam Wyatt of WMAU.
- 21 February 2013, Wikipedia training day in Bendigo. More information is available on Outreach wiki.

- 6 April 2013, Perth meetup: 1:30PM Saturday, 6 April 2013 at the State Library.
- 7 April 2013, Sydney drop-in: Sunday 7 April 2013 at Customs House Library, Circular Quay - drop in between 11am and 4pm to meet with committee members
